Christmas, Christmas everywhere

We just want to thank everyone who came
and made this 2009 bazaar such a fun, exciting
day for us. We already can't wait till next year.

We were asked if we would be interested in being part of a bazaar next March in C.City, IN.
This would be a great opportunity for us to become involved with. Keep checking in for more information on future open houses/bazaars.

Have a wonderful Christmas Season and a Blessed New Year!!

From our prim homes to yours!!

This Humble tale and Farmhouse pickins'

We're Darcy and Jocelyn of Northern Indiana
and great friends since elementary. We are both
stay at home moms of three children each. Darcy of Aleece 9, Trace 6, and Hallee 1. And mine are
Shylyn 13, Jaydrian 10, and Braya 5. Darcy's a
farm mom and I'm a country mom. We're both
so passionate about primitive style decor and crafts
that we started making it a great part of our life,
in hopes that it will someday become a major part of
our famiies lives also.
As we both love to decorate primitive style, we've
always made decor. to our likings for ourselves
but then began to realize other people were interested too.
To much of our surprise, people actually started
asking us to make things for them or help them
decorate.
As of four years ago, we took a big leap of faith and opened a booth at an annual bazaar at our old
high school. What an awesome time for us to
meet new people and spending time together doing what we love.
Coming in a couple weeks, for the first time ever,
we were asked to join a local lady of Tastefully Simple to have our own 1st ever
open house this Nov. 7th. We're so excited and hoping this open up many possibilities for us.
This blog is to encourage moms to take the time to do what you're passionate about. It might only be a few minutes at a time, but it's all so worth it. Darcy and I are at different stages in our lives too, but it's a great way to spend time and support each other. We want you to be able to come to our blog, relax, and enjoy a hot cup of chai tea!!
We'll see how this works. We're hoping to be able to update all you ladies on upcoming bazaars, open houses and products. It will be a slow process trying to figure all this new stuff out, but hang in there, this is something new to us!! We're so excited and hope you are too.
